This research looked at the possible beneficial affects of animal interaction on both mental and physical health.

It is a secondary study, which means I evaluated previous extensive research in the field and critically analysed it’s validity and reliability, before applying to the animal interactions that take place at Great Glens.

Firstly it is important to differentiate between animal-assisted interventions (AAI) and animal-assisted therapy (AAT).
